About

If you’re tired of the same old camp options and are looking for something new, fun, and different for your kids, Olympian Fencing Club’s Camp is for you! Fencers will learn swashbuckling techniques seen in movies and shows like: Puss in Boots, Wednesday, Zorro & Star Wars.  The camp will help students develop a keen focus, coordination skills, agility, balance and endurance. We will focus on tactical awareness through drills and video analyses.

The Olympic sport of epee fencing provides a great physical and mental workout and is a lot of fun. Learning to fence is a challenging mix of physical and tactical training that is equally suited to boys and girls.

Beginner students will have fencing equipment and uniforms available for use. Campers just need to bring athletic clothes, a sack lunch, a water bottle, and a lot of energy!

Camp Testimonials

Spring Camp was a great learning experience. I learned how to prepare and attack more effectively with excellent guidance from the coaches. The camp helped build my confidence by focusing on my weaknesses and turning them into strengths. As an older, more advanced student, I also liked that we were separated from the younger beginner fencers when needed. This allowed me to work on more advanced techniques and get the most out of the training. The workouts were intense, but I felt they really helped me improve my strength and stamina. Overall, the camp pushed me to grow as an athlete and gave me valuable skills I can continue to develop.

– Landen T.

During my time training at the Spring Camp, I found myself improving in many aspects of my fencing. I got to do a wide variety of training exercises, like weight training, situational bouting, and private lessons to really enforce what I was learning. In just three days, I became a much better fencer, and I was able to apply what I learnt by fencing the other strong fencers at the camp.

– Daniel P.

The winter camp and past camps have been really helpful for improving my fencing. Especially before a big tournament like a NAC, they can make a huge difference. The full-day training lets us focus on what we need to work on and include it into our fencing right away, which is extremely helpful, even for general practice. The more concentrated time and more rigorous training help build confidence and prepare us for competitions.
